A Refreshing Moment: Tour From SASANE

It was 13 th September. We, the beneficiaries of School for Justice (SFJ) went on a tour at
Chandragiri. Chandragiri is one the famous tourist area located in the lap of chandragiri hills that
offers the jaw dropping views of Himalayan ranges from Annapurna to Mount Everest. This place
has the panoramic view of mountain ranges, the alluring formations of clouds and green forest, a
refreshing weather, an eye captivating scenes of Kathmandu valley that lured our heart away from
the ongoing pandemic.

A tour became more fruitful with a team building session. Some beneficiaries were added during this
pandemic and we were yet to know them well. We were all going through online classes and were
limited within our own room because of pandemic. Many those interactive sessions or seminars
were being held through online because of which we had a very rare chance to know each other. But
this tour opened the door for us, we had an amazing interactive session with fun games. The team
building session there taught us about how team works.

It has been long since we, all the beneficiaries of SFJ had fun together in the session because online
sessions are less interactive and is more boring than the physical one. We worked together on
finding our goals, finding our self in some few years back as a team. Most importantly, we get to
know each other’s abilities, their feelings towards the project and beneficiaries along with their plans.
It was a great opportunity to set our future plans while walking together with the project.

If I have to share my personal opinion regarding the tour, it was totally a new experience for me.
From the journey of cable car to the visit place, I was mesmerized. I knew that the staffs of team
were supportive and outgoing but I would have never known that they are such a beautiful human
who can be like us in the moment despite of their professionalism. The most important thing that I
realized during the tour was that I was lagging behind to have a friendly relation with the staffs and
other beneficiaries. I get to know that I have a lot of things to do while in SFJ, and the goals and
targets to set. I realized the necessity of communicating with everyone as a team, since I am always
working on my own and within my own room. It was an experience to cope up with every
environment that could be the reason of falling back.

If I have to sum up, the overall experience was amazing. It was very well managed and session was
really amazing. Thank you SFJ for this amazing opportunity to explore the beauty of nature while
exploring our self. Thank you for amazing interaction with us during the whole tour and make us
realize that we have always been a team. I am looking forward to more such interactive session that
could assist us find our goals and objectives while learning new things in shaping us.
